I’m Alex Hirn.

I’ve been building and selling digital products since 2011 — planners, templates, guides, print-on-demand — across Shopify, Etsy and my own sites. Before that I spent close to four decades in graphic design, which is why every guide here is laid out to be used, not just read: worksheets you can fill in, checklists you can print, tables you can actually follow.

Since 2022 most of my work has been at the intersection of design, AI tooling and digital products. Purely Guides is what that adds up to: a publishing system where every guide starts from real questions people ask, gets structured around the problems they actually have, and is reviewed before it goes out. Here is exactly how that works.
